As the Project Lead, I drove the 4-month redesign initiative for Broad River Retail’s corporate WordPress website. The existing site presented significant usability heuristics violations, fragmented information architecture, and a poor user experience, impeding effective brand communication and talent acquisition. Our key objectives were to craft a modern, intuitive user interface, enhance brand perception, streamline the candidate journey for recruitment, and establish a cohesive design system to optimize overall user satisfaction.
As the Project Lead, I led the 2-month initiative to design and launch Broad River Retail’s Newsroom on WordPress. Prior to this, the company lacked a centralized hub for official communications, resulting in scattered content, limited discoverability, and weakened brand authority. Our primary goals were to establish a trusted and accessible source for news, reinforce credibility through professional presentation, streamline internal publishing workflows, and integrate employee-driven storytelling to humanize the brand and enhance stakeholder engagement.
